Unless you want to look at the starry night sky room one more time, it is truly not worth the crowds or standing in a people packed space during a pandemic (vaccinated or not). My favorite candle, Balsam & Cedar, was nowhere to be found. Maybe all those people inside thought they would never see a Yankee Candle again. If there was a sign denoting any kind of “Going Out of Business” Sale, I surely missed it. Despite this mass of people, the only sign I saw was 2 for $45, referring to the large candles, a sign that was always present.

The fun singing clock face is gone, but the starry night sky room, full of ornaments, and all the Snow Villages, as well as the Harry Potter Village, are on display.
My current visit found the entire building packed with people (thought stores had to limit number of people inside at one time during the virus restrictions, but not happening here), 2 major checkout lines, one in the Candle Store, from the registers all the way straight back out the store, and a 2nd line out in the foyer of the building, from the registers back to where Santa used to sit. Sun-drenched ripe, sweet and juicy pineapple with hints of fresh lemon, orange and bright citrus.
My previous visit was December 2020 & was surprised not to see the year round Santa & Mrs. Decided to make a visit even though I live in Williamsburg & have visited often. Read in newspaper that Yankee Candle in Williamsburg, a flagship store, was closing April 2021.
